The photographs shown on the pages in this section are part of our community's history and heritage. We would like to build up the collection, so if you have any interesting old photographs of the area or old documents of local interest, we should be grateful if you would allow us to scan them for inclusion. (All originals will of course be handled carefully and returned to the owners.) We plan to build a long-term secure store of local photos and other documents. Please help us by lending us your photographs, postcards, press cuttings, old documents, so they can be scanned and recorded for future generations to enjoy. Either email or telephone the web maintainer: Shan Merritt (email: webmaint@newtonpopplefordpc.co.uk or 01404 812733).
Please note that while these photographs are shown here for you to enjoy, they are not 'public property'. The photos as shown are low quality, due to constraints within the website. Clearer copies can be made available, within any copyright restrictions.
The photos on these pages are (we're sure) just the tip of the iceberg .... We would like to show more photos of local events - so if you have some photos that you think should be included, please either email them to webmaint@newtonpopplefordpc.co.uk or contact by phone on 01404 812733.
Photos will not be damaged at all - just scanned and then returned to their owners.
