Playing Fields Foundation
The playing field is located at the eastern end of the village and offers sports facilities on a large playing field, along with a kick-about area with goal-posts, and a play area for small children.
There are shower facilities for sports teams, and the Pavilion can be hired for hourly or longer periods.
At present the Parish Council is the Trustee of the PFF, managing and funding the basic maintenance of the site and buildings.
The whole of this wonderful facility has been greatly improved over the last year or 2. After prompting by the late Eve Rohl the Parish Council was fortunate to win funding of £50,000 from the Lottery for the major refurbishment of the Play Area.
